I draw inspiration from nature, human craftsmanship and vintage charm. I love sketching and doodling by hand or on my tablet, bringing ideas to life before transforming them into vectors. From there, I focus on flow and structure to create seamless repeat patterns, playing with color as the final touch, my favorite part of the process! Using organic shapes, fluid lines, and a balanced palette of earthy tones with vibrant accents, I aim to craft a soothing yet uplifting aesthetic for home decor, apparel, accessories and stationery.

Once again, I'm using the prompt to create a blender for one of my work-in-progress collections. I’ll experiment with some textures before uploading it to my shop. I just don’t want to fall too far behind in the challenge. I’m taking it as an experiment, and I know I’ll have a lot of process work to finish later. That also means lots of new patterns to add to my shop!

I took the opportunity once again to create a blender for one of my work-in-progress collections.

I usually design for the Spoonflower challenges but don’t always have time to finish a full collection right away. Later, with more time and inspiration, I keep adding new patterns, blenders, and coordinates to build a more complete offering.

In this case, I reused some motifs from a floral hero I designed for the previous Bold Floral Challenge.

I really like how it turned out! I got carried away and created lots of colorways too.

This week’s @spoonflower challenge theme, Floral Block Prints, was a fun one for me. I experimented with this style for the first time and really enjoyed the process.

I imagined hand-carved wooden blocks, soft ink on fabric, and wildflowers growing somewhere in the countryside. That’s what I tried to bring into this design: something imperfect, a little nostalgic and quietly joyful.

This is my entry, in washed blue. It’s also available in other colorways in my shop, if you’re curious to explore.

I took this opportunity to develop one of the two collections I’m currently working on - the forest-themed one. I used a small part of a more complex motif from another pattern and turned it into this simpler tossed version.

I spent way too much time playing with textures and ended up with several options! For now, I’m sharing this watercolor texture with big dots because of its soft and delicate look. I’ve just uploaded it to my Spoonflower shop in many different colorways.

All the flowers I drew last weekend came together in this pattern! It's a mix of hand-drawn and hand-painted florals, later refined as vectors. I originally wanted to create something more watercolor-like, but in the end, I leaned into what I feel most comfortable with: vector work.

I'm slowly but steadily working on my portfolio, revisiting my work from the past months and updating it for my website.

I recolored this collection with a more muted palette, and I'm really loving the results. Yet I find myself torn between these earthy tones and the vibrant, saturated colors that sometimes also emerge in my creative process. I genuinely love both approaches!

For now, I'll continue creating and experimenting with both styles, waiting to see if I develop a stronger preference for one, or perhaps discover how they can coexist harmoniously in my work and portfolio (and Instagram feed too! that part is particularly challenging for me!)

Do you think artists should stick to one signature color palette, or is it okay to explore different worlds of color?

Some glimpses of the process behind my latest damask pattern!

I first started with simple hand-drawn sketches of leaves, ivy, ferns, cloves, sprigs, flowers, and even experimented with mushrooms and lichen, though they didn’t make it into the final design.

At first, I played with both line and fill, but it felt too busy, so I decided to keep only the silhouettes and add texture to the final motif.

Sharing my entry for the Spoonflower Heritage Revival Design Challenge!

For this piece, I aimed to create a modern and relaxed take on botanical damask, featuring hand-drawn, sketched motifs. I’m really happy with how it turned out, it feels like a beautiful balance between exploring new pattern styles, deepening my skills in Illustrator, and reconnecting with my past inspirations and techniques.
